Bailout BINGO!

Remember when Value-Jet splattered one of their planes and a bunch of people into the Everglades? Shortly thereafter they changed their name to Air-Tran. They doing pretty well today. I've flown them several times recently and gotten great service. (Free upgrades to first class are always good.)

I just received an Email from one of our insurance companies. It seems that AIG is renaming itself "21st Century Insurance".

A quote from the Email, "I am pleased to announce that our company name has changed to 21st Century Insurance. This new brand name is meant to reflect our commitment to being the kind of forward-thinking insurance company you need today - in the 21st century."

Uh-huh. Forward thinking enough to bet a bunch of farms on unsustainable lending practices bundled by a bunch of democratically enabled financial swindlers. Spectacular.

Well, at least we own the Manchester United.
