Never thought I'd hope for a gas leak
Building in NYC explodes and collapses this morning.
UPDATE:
WCBS880 is saying that this could be a suicide by a physician who worked and lived in the building. They have heard of a 15 page suicide note left by an injured party rescued from the collapse.
THIS entire debacle could have been avoided. If New York had reasonable firearms laws rather that the total ban that they currently have in place, this idiot could have legally purchased a shotgun and saved everybody a lot of grief.
Explain that one to the families of the others injured Mayor Bloomberg.

I don't even know how to think about such sheer egocentric stupidity. Have you seen that a woman was killed in Boston when part of the "Big Dig" tunnel fell on the car in which she was a passenger? That has got to be poor construction at the very least!!!Someone should go to jail for life for the Boston fiasco.Of course they'll never find the real culprit. That is so scary.
