A community in San Jose, California is up in arms because their city won't let them slaughter a family of Coyotes that has taken up residence in their gated homestead. They fear for their pets and their children.

Geee. Appeasement didn't work. Now that it's too late, it sorta seems like a decent policy of pre-emption might have been in order, hmmmmm? It would have been nice to kill the canine terrorists before they became more than a "nuisance" wouldn't it've? The democratic "plan" for combatting terrorism won't even work with semi-sentient animals. How the hell is it going to work in practice in the real world against real killers?
