Harrisburg First Impressions
Cold as expected.
Lots of snow.
Nuclear power plant near approach path.
River on approach frozen over.
Not enough staff at airport to get bags efficiently.
A light, airy, effervescent, blog of grave consequence. (NOT!) Dedicated to those of us who must respond to negative stimuli by Chernobyling (entombing in concrete) our innermost thoughts.
A semi-gruntled corporate reliability engineer trying to make ends meet while keeping my wife happy, and myself out of the asylum.
3 Comments:
that airport has pits in the basement that constantly pump out water because it is so close to the river
oh, and the airport police use those goofy 2-wheeled auto-gyro buggies. they rode them everywhere, even balanced on them on the moving escalators.
the new airport has escalators that have tread depth a little shorter than the old airport... that little buggy couldn't stay on the new tread and dumped a cop or two before the memo went out to stop doing that
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.
